So, I started this picture in November of 2006 I believe.
I finished the face, and I always freak out about the hair.
I hate doing it and I'm never satisfied with how it turns out. So it got put on the back burner forever. I would pull it out every 9 months or so, work on it, get frustrated, and put it away for another 9 months. But I finally finished it last night. And I think it turned out well. I still hate doing hair, and I'm not extremely satisfied with it. But I'm so glad to say it's done. Hope you like it.

Just like shortkid said. White makes it look soft. This is really great potrait. Only thing that bothers me is left background..why black? I dont really like it. Otherwise this is great. You did amazing job drawing it

Thanks you so much for the comment. I see how you could
be bothered by the background. But this picture was drawn
directly referenced from a picture. And the background is exactly
as you see it. I'm a little afraid to stray from what I see.
